Alan analyses 2 more games from October’s Dorset Open featuring local players Mike Waddington, Gabor Horvath & Michael Duggan
Mike Waddington went into the 5th & final round of the Dorset Open needing a win against Gabor. He castled queenside from an English Opening and played boldly to try and secure the point that would have made him one of the prizewinners. Gabor though, had attacking ideas of his own
And after that a 4th round win by Poole’s Michael Duggan in a Dutch opening, which eventually leads to what Alan describes as the “smoothest of paths to victory”
The 2 games are under “Games” on the main menu and then “52nd Dorset Open Analysis (2)”.
