Brian Curran reports Southbourne A v Highcliffe A (8 Feb '19) on LMS and Player Allocation file now updated

Bournemouth & District Chess League
The Player Allocation file is updated weekly and on a Friday evening or, if a match on the Friday then Saturday morning. Team can use 10 Reserve Places before possible player reallocation

The home captain, Brian Curran, reports “a very tight match” last night (9 Feb), with just 1 game proving decisive. Please go to LMS by clicking on the red LMS tab on the website homepage (at the top on the right). And then go to “Dorset”. No password required.

The Player Allocation file is available under “B&DCL League”, “BDCL Season 2018/19”, then scroll down to “BDCLPlayerAllocations_Season1819_080219”. The aim of the file is to help Team Captains with the use of Reserve Places. Players can be used as reserves in higher teams, but over a season any one team cannot use more than 10 Reserve Places. However, players from lower teams can be reallocated to that higher team and, if that happens, the reserve places used by that particular player are  refunded.

Well done to all the teams in making B&DCL Div 1 so interesting throughout. Highcliffe A, in their first season after promotion, have been especially competitive in every match they have played.
