Chess League advice and information
Many thanks to all clubs, especially Team Captains, who have both entered and updated information under "Team Captains" on LMS (main menu bar). To access email addresses and phone numbers, other "approved" captains etc need to have logged in please. But the names of captains are shown publicly

26 Sept: The latest issue (v11) has a few adjustments, but these are mainly Weymouth County 1 & 2 matches moving to Thursdays from Mondays (typically in the original week the match was scheduled). Grateful if Captains and Secretaries could keep checking carefully in case of any other alternations they are not aware of. There are just a few recent ones and are typically shown with purple highlighting.

Some Captains have asked which grades should be used for season 2019/20. These should be the revised ECF grades which came out end Aug ’19 (adjusted following the duplication problem of B&D results pre Christmas 2018). These updated grades also appear on the Player Allocation files under Captain’s Page, B&DCL main menu bar etc.

Here is the file which has also been uploaded to the Captains page:

Strongly recommend please not to use old draft versions of the fixtures.

The spreadsheet above is really a working and detailed document and is, understandably, not ideal for clubs to plan their matches.

Much better is to use LMS (no log-in needed) and then, clicking the Fixtures tab the matches can be looked at by club and also by team within a club. E.g. clicking on B&DCL Div 4, and the first team “Purbeck”, and then “Fixtures” will give the 10 matches Purbeck are scheduled to play this season in that division.

Bacchus matches now appear in LMS, but are not in the above spreadsheet.
