Poole hosted a final charity evening last Thursday before Steve Bailey departs for the West Indies this week (2 July) and collected an impressive £70. Around 20 attended a fun evening, including new juniors plus a Russian family. This follows Poole’s highly successful and earlier fund-raising to enable Steve to take part in the cricket coaching and matches for visually impaired players in the Caribbean. Steve plans to send photos, when he can, which will be displayed.
