Some Wessex Stars A have already secured promotion to Division 1 of the online 4NCL League but on Tuesday 16th June were playing in the quarterfinals for the honour of being titled Division 2 champions.   They were paired against Irish side St Benildus A.

The match was tied 2-2 but St Benildus won on board count.

All the games were hard fought and the match could easily have been decisive in either direction.
