Chess League advice and information

The Dorset Chess website has just undergone a major internal software update.  This update will help future-proof the site as internet standards and browsers change and has ironed out a few bugs with the old site.

You will also notice some improved features on the site, especially if you are accessing it via a smart phone.  These include pagination of the news page, a more prominent search facility, improved menus on smart phones, and improved presentation of the headlines on smart phones.

I am aware that the presentation of some of the less frequently used pages has temporarily been made worse, normally in a minor way but in a few cases more substantially.  You may also see “[vc_empty_space]” appearing on many older news items – this is untidy but is not harmful. Please rest assured that I will be gradually tidying these up in the coming days.  Thanks for your patience in the meantime.
