On the 6th June 2026 Fareham Chess Club will be hosting its 2nd ECF rated Open Rapidplay tournament at its playing venue, the Duke of Connaught’s Own Club, 74 Western Rd, Fareham PO16 0NS.

Once again this will be run with the aim of donating a proportion of the entry fees received to the registered charity ‘Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance’ https://www.hiowaa.org/.

6-rounds: Commencing at 10:15, 11:30, 1:00, 2:15, 3:30, 4:45.

Rate of play: 15 minutes and 10 second increments from the start of the game

Entry fee: £20 (ECF Gold members)

Entry: Closes on Monday 1st June 2026 – no entries will be accepted on the day.
