The Dorset Closed has eligiblity requirements but the other 3 are open tournaments.
In 2020 due to COVID-19 only the Dorset Rapidplay was held
In 2021 due to COVID-19 no face-to-face tournaments were held but the 1st Online Dorset Rapidplay was held
In 2022:
- the 2nd Online Dorset Rapidplay was held in March
- the 26th Dorset Rapidplay Championship was held in May
- the 3rd One Day Dorset Closed will be held on Sunday 19th June
- the 4th Dorset Blitz Championship will be held on Sunday 25h September; details to follow
- the Dorset Open will not be held due to continuing challenges over finding a suitable venue following COVID-19

The Future?
Martin Simons is exploring running another Dorset Grand, possibly in 2020 in Bournemouth. This used to be a summer open tournament but the holding of it was interrupted when Martin Simons and Ian Clark brought the highly successful British Championship to Bournemouth in 2016.
