First prize in the Major, Intermediate and Minor and all Rating prizes may only be won by players with a March or April 2027 ECF A or K rating. Please see the Congress Rules and Conditions of Entry for more details.
The rating prizes categories will be announced once the entries are known.

- The entry fee for Bronze ECF and non-ECF members is £16 extra (Juniors £7 extra)
- The entry fee for late entries (after Sunday 21st March 2027) is £10 extra
- Entries will close at 9pm on 31st March 2027 or sooner if 150 entries are reached
- Last year’s congress sold out so early entry is advised.
Time Control
90 minutes for all moves with 30 second increments for each move.
Format
All tournaments are a 5 round Swiss with about 4 hour playing sessions.
