It’s almost that time of the year where Southbourne Chess Club holds its fun Christmas event where there are more prizes than players!

This traditional 6 round seasonal fun swiss handicap tournament will be held this Friday 19th December at Tuckton Social Club BH6 3AA from 7.15pm to 10.30pm.

20 minutes will be allocated to each game but the time given to each player will determined by the rating differential between the 2 players. As always, there will be more prizes than players, and these will be in the form of wrapped up presents!

The entry fee is only £3 which includes food, drink, Christmas music and a guaranteed Christmas present. Please feel free to bring along a wrapped up pressie.

There will be a chess book / DVD sale of donated items.

All local players and visitors, regardless of strength, will be warmly welcomed.

No need to pre-book, just turn up but please arrive by 7.15pm at the latest so a prompt start can be made!
