The 2026 Hampshire Chess Congress & Hampshire Individual Championships will take place from Friday 23rd to Sunday October 25th, 2026, at the Lysses House Hotel, 51 High Street, Fareham, Hampshire, PO16 7BQ.
All players are welcome to enter this event which offers three sections catering to all standards of play.
All sections will be FIDE as well as ECF rated. Cash prizes are awarded in all tournaments for the top three places in each section. Additional prizes are awarded for rating performances and trophies to be held for one year for the Hampshire Individual Championship awards.
The overall congress prize money has been increased to £1,750.
It is a 5-round congress with a 90 + 30 secs time control. The venue has a capacity of just over 90 and the congress has sold out the last three years. Early entry is recommended!
