Once again no Wimborne team but once again a well fought evening of chess that came down to the wire.

Poole won again, finishing just four points ahead of Southbourne with the result being decided in the last minute of play.

There was also the traditional battle for third place between Highcliffe and Ringwood, with the former prevailing on this occasion by 5 points.  Ringwood’s performance was notable, however, because they only had two players and for the excellent results of Jakawaka.
