Sections and Rates of Play
Players will be placed into all-play-all groups based on their standard ECF ratings.
Depending on the number of entrants, we will have either:

10-player groups (9 rounds) with a time control of 10 mins + 5 secs
or -
12-player groups (11 rounds) with a time control of 8 mins + 3 secs.
Prizes
Minimum Guaranteed Prizes of £150 for Each Group:

Veteran (65 or over on 1st Sept. 2023) – £15

Junior (under 18 on 1st Sept 2023) – £15

The Dorset Blitz Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed player who has, in 2022/23, played in either the local DCCA or B&DCL leagues or was born in Dorset.
(Please note we reserve the right to retain the trophy in the event of a non-local winner)
Food and Drink
FREE hot and cold buffet lunch!
FREE refreshments all day.
Entry Fees
£15.00 for adults / £10.00 for juniors
£20.00 for adults / £15.00 for juniors for entries received after 21st September.
Note: depending on numbers already entered, entries on the day may not be accepted
