New rule:
A player who has been assigned an estimated (local) rating may have their local rating reassessed and amended by the Rating Officer / League Controller at any point of the season where it is believed their true playing strength is a minimum of 150 points higher (or lower) than their local rating.
Other agreed actions for next season:
- Vacancy – There is still a vacancy for the Secretary position.
- Team Fees – Team league fees will remain at £5 per team
- Financial support – This may be provided to any struggling B&DCL club.
- Bournemouth Swiss – It is hoped that this tournament will be resurrected for 2026 and this tournament will be organised by Richard Ursell.
- 2 Towns match – Scheduled for Monday 7th September at the BH15 Club (home venue of Poole Chess Club).
