David Prior of Southbourne Chess club sadly passed away on 27th October 2021.
David (pictured fourth from left below, partially behind Russell Pegg) was well known to local chess players having been active in the area for many years and particularly at Southbourne Chess Club in the 1980s and 90s when he held the position of the Internal Competitions Secretary. He retired from chess about 15 to 20 years ago.
David’s funeral will be held at the Bournemouth Crematorium at 11.45am on Thursday 18th November and the details can be found on the link below.
