• 1st Prize – £100 plus the Dorset Blitz Trophy

• Veteran (65 or over on 1st September 2025) – £30

• Junior (under 18 on 31st August 2025) – £30

   

The Dorset Blitz Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed players who have, in 2024/25, played in either the local DCCA or B&DCL, or were born in Dorset.

(Please note we reserve the right to retain the trophy in the event of a non-local winner)

Format

• 11 Round Swiss

• Time Control: 7 minutes plus 3 seconds a move

Food and Drink

• FREE refreshments all day!

• FREE Hot and Cold buffet lunch!

Entry Fee

• £20 for Adults

• £15 for Juniors

• £25 for adults/£20 for juniors for all entries received after 28th September 2025

• Early entry is recommended as entries on the day may not be accepted
