The Dorset County Chess Association and the Bournemouth and District Chess League have a Junior Chess Coordinator,
Nikki Forster, to help develop youngsters in the county.

Nikki has great  enthusiasm and a wealth of experience in this area, having organised junior events over many years. In so doing she helped her own son become a county level player.

Nikki:

• Can advise you on junior chess groups and coaching available in Dorset

• Organises the Dorset Junior Chess Championship

• Organises the Dorset Inter-school Chess Competition

• Organises the Dorset Junior teams for the online 4 Nations Chess League (4NCL)

• Publishes the Dorset Junior Chess Newsletter.
