Poole won it’s fourth Team Battle in a row, the first time any team has done this since the battles started nearly a year ago. Once again their star player was Oscar Garcia who won all ten of his games and single-handedly notched up 40 points.

Last night the real competition was for second place.  Highcliffe, led by Adam Ursell, prevailed over Southbourne who were third and New Milton in fourth.   This is Highcliffe’s third silver medal.

In all there were thirty players from at least 10 clubs participating, including stalwart George Wright representing Wimborne on his own.
