This is the first game in this sequence to be published without a puzzle.

Ian Clark has very kindly and sportingly sent in his game against IM Gary Lane, which was rather painful for him as he was clearly winning for a long while but ended up losing. It is a fascinating game in which Ian showed his usual tactical sharpness and took and IM through 2 adjournments (remember those?), itself quite an achievement.
