THE 3rd DORSET OPEN BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIPS

10.15am to 5.30pm, Sunday 22nd September 2019

Furzebrook Village Hall, 116 Furzebrook Road, Wareham BH20 5AR

*  Subject to number of entries, either 9 rounds (time control 10 mins + 5 sec increment) or 11 rounds (8 mins + 3 sec)

*  Players placed into groups based on grade with each group comprising up to 12 players

*  Prizes for top two juniors (under 18 on 01-09-19)

*  Prize for best veteran (65 or over on 01-09-19)

*  FREE hot and cold buffet lunch!

*  FREE on-site refreshments all day

Minimum Guaranteed Prizes for Each Section:

1^st Prize – £50

2^nd Prize – £25

The Dorset Blitz Trophy will be awarded to the winner of the highest graded group.

(Please note we reserve the right to retain the trophy in the event of a non-local winner)

Entry Fee:    £12.00 (£8.00 for juniors)

OR                  £17.00 for entries received after 20^th September.
