Division 1 of the Dorset League was incredibly hard fought this year as not only the match points but also the game points show.

The final match of the season saw Wimborne A away against leaders Weymouth A and needing to win 3-1 to tie with them on match points and game points difference.   In the event, Wimborne had to default a board due to a family crisis and the other 3 games were drawn, meaning that Weymouth topped the table by 4 clear match points.
