Fun Open Blitz Tournament
7:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Friday 3rd June 2022

- Open to non-members (i.e. all local players)
- 6 round swiss – one section
- Time control of 8 minutes + 2 second time increments
- FREE hot and cold drinks (maybe even some bubbly and cake to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee), snacks and biscuits at the tea break after 3 rounds.
- CHEAP Book / DVD sale.
- Everyone wins a book prize!
- Registration at 7pm – Tournament starts at 7.20pm

- Under 1600 – £5 + book

- Best Junior – £5 + book
- All Other Competitors – Free book!

Adults £3, Juniors £2
To help with the costs, please feel free to bring along a chess book / DVD to be used for the chess book / DVD sale and/or prizes, plus any Jubilee cakes and bubbly!
