Southbourne Seagulls win Bacchus League

Chess League advice and information

The idea of the Bacchus League is to offer graded league condition matches for players who do not normally get the opportunity to play in league matches, or are new to more competitive chess.  The spirit is to try and organise teams of about equal strength, so in the Bacchus League it really is a case of the taking part being more important than the winning.

Nonetheless, there is a league table and at the end of the season there is a winner.  And following their 1-3 away win against Highcliffe Castles, it is Southbourne Seagulls who have topped the table.  Congratulations to them!
