Dorset Junior Chess are very pleased to announce that we can share with you the UK Chess Challenge weekly activity sheets.

The activity sheets will be posted each weekend on the Junior Chess page of the Dorset Chess website.

Backdated copies can also be found here on the Delancey UK Chess Challenge Site.

Answers will be available the following weekend.

About the Activity Sheets

The team at UK Chess Challenge believe everyone should have access to fun and engaging chess content for free, helping more juniors (and adults) get into the game which is beneficial to the whole community.  With this aim in mind, they have developed free chess content including a free weekly activity sheet.

The UK Chess Challenge activity sheets include four levels of puzzles with a different theme each week including something for total beginners who are new to the game!

At the end of each activity sheet is a mix of fun and head-scratching chess puzzles and riddles to solve with friends and family.

Puzzle of the Week with Prizes

One of the puzzles is marked with a purple star to indicate it is the ‘puzzle of the week’.

To be in with a shot of a prize, students should submit their answers via the UK Chess Challenge online form https://airtable.com/shrVsrbDsSWPRRDVK. The link to the entry is also available in the activity sheets pdf.

Winners will be randomly selected from the correct submissions.
