Please note that to balance numbers, the sections have been rejigged.   The Major and Intermediate have been combined and will be Under 1850 (as opposed to under 1900 for the old Major and under 1700 for the Intermediate).

The 3rd Dorset One Day ‘Closed’ Chess Congress, incorporating the Dorset Championship, will be held on Sunday 19th June from 9:15am to 6:45pm.

The key details are:

• Venue: The Elstead Hotel

• 3 Sections: Championship, Major (Under 1850), Minor (Under 1500)

•  Maximum of 12 players per section

• 4 Rounds played at 45 minutes plus 15 seconds increment per move

• Eligibility criteria apply
