The 2023/24 Dorset fixtures are now out. There are 20 teams, 3 more than last season. However, due to the imbalance of teams in each division:
- With more teams in Divisions 1 and 2 all teams will play each other only the once.
- There will be a new format in Division 3 this season. The top 4 teams in the division will meet up in a semi-final and then there will be a final!
The 2023/24 Dorset League Fixtures are now live on LMS and can be found here:
- Division 1 (7 teams)
- Division 2 (8 teams
- Division 3 (5 teams)
The Dorset League rules were amended significantly for the 2023/4 season. Areas where changes were made include (but are not limited to):
- Postponements
- Forfeit times, use of substitutes, the 75 point rule and board orders
- Ratings to be used for the season
- Penalties for exceeding rating limits in divisions other than Division 1
- Removal of the option of a quickplay finish.
Captains are advised to familiarise themselves thoroughly with the updated rules.
