8 Feb: All day event run by Dorset County Chess Association, at Bournemouth School for Girls, Castle Gate Close. Organiser was Nikki Forster and Ian Clark was Controller and had managed entries. And there was a an experienced support team of arbiters including Steve Peirson, Jon Catchpole, Graham Hillman and Pete Donaldson. School years 3 to 13 inclusive. Incorporates the Delancey UK Chess Challenge. As always with any Dorset congress, Martin Simons was very much involved, especially managing the catering which included an excellent offering of both hot and cold food. Finally, Andy Baskett was also involved with helping to run the catering side.
