Mike Waddington sent in the following end to a game from this year’s Two Towns match where he faced Bruce Jenks.  Honours were split across the two games they played, with Mike getting the upper hand in this one.

There are few pieces left but in the space of just a few moves there are several interesting nuances and, as Mikes notes, the margins between winning, drawing and losing are often very fine. I might add that chess can be a cruel game!
