24 players (6 more than last year), including players from 7 local clubs, took part in yesterday’s popular Open 10 second buzzer tournament at Southbourne Chess Club.

The tournament was won jointly by Zander Booth (Poole) and Finn Schell (Southbourne), with 5 points out of 6 who both played exceptionally well throughout the evening.  They are pictured above with their prizes.

Bruce Jenks (Highcliffe) came 3rd with 4½ points.
