Main prizes:
- 1st Prize – £100
- 2nd Prize – £60
- 3rd Prize – £40
7 Grading Prizes of £40 each (to be determined by the Controllers based on live March ratings)
Best Team – £40 Please see the Team Rules page
Top Juniors – £30, £20, £10 (Under 18 on 1st September 2022)
Best Veteran – £20 (65 or over on 1st September 2022)
Organisers’ Prize – £20 for the best performance by an individual not winning a top 3 or a Rating Prize
Best Lady – Chocolates
Booby Prize – to be determined
There will be a limit of one prize per person. In the case that someone being eligible for more than one prize they will be awarded the higher value prize.
The Dorset Rapidplay Championship Cup & Veterans Trophy (65 or over on 1st September 2022) will be awarded to the highest placed players who have, in 2022/23, played in either the local Dorset or Bournemouth & District Chess Leagues, or were born in Dorset.
