In the forthcoming season there will be 4 teams competing in the Bacchus League, one up from last year thanks to Highcliffe Castles joining in.  Each team will play the others 3 times giving a total of 9 matches per team.

This league is superb for not only giving new players a chance to acclimatise to competitive chess but also for attracting players to clubs.
